Photo Bomb!

Is the boy photo bombing us or are we photo bombing him? We had so much fun at Solomon Islands.

Colorful Picture Frame

A frame of colorful soft coral is simply priceless. Practically every inch of this reef was covered with soft coral, sponge, and tunicates.

Such a Nice View

It is nice to see healthy coral reef like this with a mix of hump coral (Porites compressa), staghorn coral (Acropora sp.), tropical fish, and a diver (can you make out the faint silhouette?). We must keep in mind that what we do both on land and in water will affect the health of our environment. We have all been far too careless. We must do all we can to preserve and protect our environment.

So Well Camouflaged

Can you see the tiny little seahorse hiding in the sea fan? Bargibant's pygmy seahorse (Hippocampus bargibanti) was the first species of pygmy seahorse to be discovered. They range from southern tropical Japan, throughout the Philippines, Indonesia, easy to Palau, Papua Nee Guinea. Solomon Islands, Fiji, Vanuatu, and the Great Barrier Reef, Australia.

Awkward Looking, but Cute

Frogfish (Antennarius) have got to be one of the strangest looking fish you see while dIving. They look and move so awkwardly. They are sort of ugly, but it's cute ugly...
