Sea Turtle Tenor

La la la~ Come on, sing along with me! Here is another picture from oceansafari dive trip to Roatan, Honduras. The sea turtles here let us get very close to them.

Vortex of Big-Eye Trevally

When you dive in areas such as Galapagos, Socorro and Malpelo, it is common to see a huge school of big-eye trevally like this. They form such a massive school, and you can get very close and if you approach very quietly.

Underwater Traffic Jam

The huge school of silversides was swimming in one direction and a smaller school of yellowtail fusilier (Carsio cuning) was swimming in the opposite direction. There were so many fish that you could hardly make out the reef in the background.

Sunburst Through the Water

Looking up at the sky and the island through the clear, warm water in the Coral Triangle. When you are diving, remember to look up once in a while.

Healthy Reefs of Coral Triangle

There are healthy looking coral reefs at the Coral Triangle. A school of fish and sunburst made a nice backdrop for this colony of staghorn  coral. These coral may not be colorful, but when you closely at them, you will see fish and other colorful creatures hiding in there.
