Fiji Dive & Eco Expedition 2022

Most people visit Fiji by going to one of the resorts on the main islands, diving only at the reefs close to shore. However, Fiji is composed of over 300 islands, and with Ocean Safari, you can have a more authentic adventure - traveling to the smaller, less visited islands which has the most pristine coral reefs, beaches, and less visited villages. To do so, Ocean Safari has chartered an 8 day 7 nights trip on the best liveaboard in Fiji, the NAI’A. Will explore the capital of soft coral diving in the world, in one corner of the Coral Triangle. The areas we will be diving is too remote to be accessed by resort divers. We will cover most of the remote Bligh Water, diving at underwater pinnacles covered with soft coral, surrounded by schools of barracuda and trevally and fish species found nowhere else on Earth such as the Fiji anemone fish, flasher wrasse, and Terry’s dwarf goby. 

Our 7-day trip travel throughout the Bligh water region, all the way to northeastern Viti Levu Island. The NAI’A liveaboard is 120 feet long, with air-conditioned staterooms, a massive main salon and sun deck, and a comfortable dive deck with a designated camera room. Our adventure will add on day rooms to relax in Fiji style on the day of arrival and departure. While we will visit Fijian villages throughout our expedition, we will also have an optional cultural/city tour on our last day to end our trip with a grand finale!

Nov. 3 (Thu):  Depart LAX in the evening
Nov. 4 (Fri):    Cross international date line
Nov. 5 (Sat):   Arrive in Nadi, Fiji in the morning. Rest in hotel with day room until 1pm. One hour bus transfer to Lautoka Wharf, board the beautiful motor-sail liveaboard NAI'A at 2pm. Set sail, do a check out dive. 
Nov. 6~11 (Sun~Fri):  Six days of 4~5 tanks dive in the most pristine region of the Fiji archipelago, most of them only accessible by liveaboard. We will also visit some remote beaches and villages. 
Nov 12 (Sat):  Say farewell to NAI'A and her crews at 8am, transfer to hotel day rooms, back to LAX the same day in the morning.

Dive & Travel Insurance: 

Dive insurance is required to participate in this trip. Please use our links to purchase dive insurance from DAN or Dive Assure. 

Travel insurance is optional. However, over the years, we have seen how valuable and beneficial travel insurance can be. These policies will help cover expenses when your trip is interrupted due to events such as weather, mechanical breakdowns, missed flights/connections, or when someone else has a dive/medical emergency that prevents you from diving.

Cancellation Policy:

Before Oct 4, 2021: 1st deposit forfeited, no refund on first deposit.
After Oct 4, 2021: 1st and 2nd deposit forfeited (unless a replacement can be found then 1st deposit forfeited).
After Apr 4, 2022: 1st, 2nd, & 3rd deposit forfeited (unless a replacement can be found then 1st deposit forfeited).
After July 4, 2022: no refund (unless a replacement can be found then 1st deposit forfeited).
